Mithrix is one in-your-pocket kinda guy! This special gelding has been all over the place. Bred in Kentucky, he made his way to Tampa Bay, Florida before heading all the way up to beautiful BC, where he began training at Hastings racetrack. After 120+ days on stall rest, daily wrap changes, hand walks and vet guided care (and x-rays throughout), 'Ricky' has done the miraculous. He has 'healed perfectly' from a sesamoid fracture according to our vet and will have NO LIMITATIONS from this injury. He also has NO VICES despite his lengthy stall rest period. He is beginning groundwork and slow, levelled re-entry into under saddle. All 3 sets of x-rays are available to pre-approved, serious adopters only.

*UPDATE* Ricky is ZOOMING through his training and is now patiently waiting at the mounting block, has learned to lunge w/t/c and is comfortably/relaxed w/t/c under saddle and has even started over small fences! 

​

He is a more forward ride and as a still young fella, he requires a balanced rider who has the experience and confidence to continue to HELP and support him as he continues on. He is not at the point where he can help the rider, so intermediate homes (working with a coach) or experienced riders are being considered only at this point.
