Teamwork, community and a shared love of thoroughbreds is what drives Wild Hearts thoroughbred adoption society. There are many ways you can contribute that will have a profound impact on racehorses coming off the track and on Wild Hearts ability to continue to provide a safe, stable and beautiful transition for these magnificent horses as they are matched with their forever home.

VOLUNTEER
Consider volunteering some time to Wild Hearts! You’ll meet some great people and have an opportunity to interact with our extraordinary horses and team of professionals. Our volunteers do any and all of the following tasks:

Grooming

Ground work – lunging, ground manners, handling, playing with our friends

Training under saddle

Injury care and rehabilitation

Fundraising

Events
We have many opportunities for individuals who are not hands-on horse people! Volunteers are needed for administrative duties, fundraising, and staffing at various events. If you have time and a special skill to share please get in touch.

It has been said that a nations moral progress can be judged by how they treat their animals, and we passionately pursue the Wild Hearts mission with this deeply rooted belief.
Wild Hearts relies almost entirely on the generosity of the public and organizations in its mission to find adoptive homes and new careers for former Thoroughbred racehorses. We receive no funding from the government.
